PitchBeat is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not require an account to read the site.

No analytics cookies are set until you accept them via the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your mind by clearing the site's storage in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or sell any data.

If you subscribe to the dispatch, we store the email address you provide solely to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, which deletes your address from the list.

Standard hosting logs may record request metadata (IP address, timestamp, URL, user agent) for security and reliability. Links in The Wire take you to publisher websites, which operate under their own privacy policies.
